High KW starters have the drawback that they will require special batteries to actually provide the power they are capable of. The short overall length; clean looks and the several finishes make this starter optical very attractive. Automotive industry internals are used; they are of tried; tested and proven quality. The special gear reduction design also allows this starter to turn over most Big-Inch high-compression engines without the need of a special (big) battery.
